It feels comforting to look outward—at the stars, at numbers on a clock, at a deck of cards—and believe the answers are there. And in some ways, they are. But if we never take those reflections into the depths of our own healing, the insights stay on the surface. We end up gathering information, but not shifting the core patterns that cause our struggle.
